Tobias is a Director in Berlin and co-leads the Energy & Resources Sector Team in Germany. He has in-depth experience regarding energy markets, the energy transition, sustainability, and industrial transformation as well as how regulation influences business models. He provides strategic counsel to clients on matters of public and regulatory affairs, corporate positioning and financial situations.
He joined Brunswick’s Berlin office in 2015 and has advised clients in various sectors, ranging from industry and energy corporates to associations and clean tech startups. His clients have included: RWE, Fortum, EWE, Westenergie, Kosmos Energy, Encavis, Meyer Burger, Sunfire, thyssenkrupp Steel, Siemens Energy, and ista.
Prior to joining Brunswick, Tobias worked as a Policy Analyst on German energy policy in Berlin and gained EU Public Affairs experience in Brussels. He holds a master‘s degree in Public Policy from Hertie School of Governance, Berlin.
