Tim Danaher

Tim co-leads Brunswick's Consumer Industries Group globally, heading the team in the UK and Europe. He has vast experience of advising some of the world's biggest companies in the sector, with a particular focus on retail and hospitality.

The consumer industries are uniquely high profile, and Tim’s deep knowledge of these markets helps clients navigate the high level of scrutiny and complex stakeholder environment they face, while also taking advantage of the communications opportunities this high profile brings.

Tim has also worked in Brunswick’s Beijing office and continues to work with Chinese companies going global. Prior to joining Brunswick Tim worked as a journalist, including as editor of Retail Week from 2005 to 2011, during which time he became recognised as a leading expert in the industry.

Away from Brunswick Tim is a director of the Great Britain China Centre, a non-departmental government body affiliated to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, which exists to strengthen engagement between the UK and China, and also works with BBC Media Action, the BBC’s international development charity.
