Paul advises clients across sectors on critical capital markets issues including mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism, IPOs, and investor and stakeholder relations.
Recognized for his ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder situations and his ability to operate across multiple markets seamlessly, Paul is trusted by senior executives and leaders. Relevant mandates at Brunswick have included OMV’s landmark transaction with ADNOC and Nova Chemicals, Techem’s sale to TPG and GIC, Merck KGaA’s sale of its OTC business, Midea’s acquisition of KUKA, Diebold’s acquisition of Wincor-Nixdorf, among others.
Paul leads Brunswick’s team across 10 offices and 8 counties in Europe and is a member of the firm’s Global Management Committee.
Prior to joining Brunswick in 2005, Paul held a number of communications and investor relations positions, both in-house and with advisory firms, in the United States, United Kingdom, and Germany, starting with Daimler-Benz at the time of the merger with Chrysler. He graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in International Economics and is fluent in German.
