Max advises clients across the UK, US and Europe on financial communications and corporate reputation, including complex transactions and other critical issues.
He has a particular focus on private markets, working with a number of the world’s leading investment firms on leadership positioning, stakeholder engagement and transactions, as well as issues management and portfolio company support.
Max has extensive experience of advising on complex M&A and other financial situations, in both the public and private markets. His recent experience includes Carlsberg’s acquisition of Britvic, Mars’ acquisition of Hotel Chocolat, the demerger and listing of Haleon and the Issa brothers’ acquisition of Asda, as well as a number of high-profile take privates by financial sponsors.
From 2017 to 2019, Max worked in Brunswick’s Chicago office, which he helped to open. He also served for two and a half years as Chief of Staff to Sir Alan Parker, Brunswick’s Founder and Chairman.
Max was awarded a First Class Honours degree in Modern History from Lincoln College, Oxford.
