Dr. Joachim Peter

Dr. Joachim is Partner, Office Head in Berlin, and Co-Lead of Brunswick's global defense industry sector.

Joachim mainly focuses on public affairs, business development, positioning and crisis. He is involved in mandates across the digital, energy, finance, technology and defense sectors.

Before joining Brunswick in 2013, Joachim worked as a correspondent for the German daily DIE WELT and as a member of the leadership staff at the news agency dapd. He was also head of the unit for strategic communication in the German Defense Ministry’s executive office. Joachim studied at the University of Würzburg/Bavaria and holds a doctorate in history.
