Azhar has close to two decades of experience advising some of the world’s leading organisations on communications and reputation.
He works with multinational companies across a range of complex political, financial and societal issues, as well as defining corporate moments such as M&A, crisis, litigation, and restructuring. He has advised companies in several sectors, including energy and resources, financial services, consumer industries and infrastructure.
Azhar is a founding member of Brunswick’s India practice and has lived and worked in the UK, India and the Gulf. He remains a core member of the firm’s India group and previously served as Chief of Staff to the firm’s UK Managing Partner.
Before joining Brunswick in 2007, Azhar worked in the public affairs division of the Mayor of London’s office. He read International Relations and Economics at the University of Birmingham.
