David is a member of Brunswick’s global Climate Hub and Sustainable Business practice. He advises clients across sectors on recalibration of sustainability goals and strategies, sustainability positioning in an evolving landscape, response to activism, and the energy transition and transition plans.
Prior to joining Brunswick, David built up the environmental practices at Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), where he helped clients develop strategies and programs, manage environmental risks, and incubate collaborations to build a net-zero economy. He served the Marshall Islands as a climate diplomat in the Paris Agreement negotiations and advised governments on environmental treaty implementation, after working as a commercial litigator in New York and Toronto.
David holds an LL.M. in International Law from New York University, a J.D. and M.A. in International Relations from the University of Toronto, and a B.A. in Ethics, Politics and Economics from Yale.
