Jan-Peter leads the German Energy and Resources Sector and has extensive expertise in energy, technology, economic, and social policy. He specialises in CEO positioning and internal and stakeholder communications in critical situations. He brings over 30 years of interdisciplinary media and communications experience, having worked as a journalist, editor, consultant, and head of communications for international corporations.

Before joining Brunswick in 2021, he was responsible for global internal and external communications, investor relations, and worldwide brand strategy at the technology company Osram Licht AG. Prior to that, he held senior communications positions at Siemens and RWE AG.

Jan-Peter began his career at the German broadcasting company WDR as a business journalist and political editor. Before moving into a corporate role, he founded an agency for strategic and crisis communications in Düsseldorf. Jan-Peter studied economics with a focus on finance and auditing and holds an MBA in Communication and Leadership from the Technical University of Munich.
