Charlie is a trusted adviser to FTSE 100 companies and shareholders across a variety of sectors, advising on more than 100 IPOs, other equity offerings and M&A deals.
Although based in London, Charlie works with clients across Europe, the Middle East and the US.
Before joining Brunswick in 2017, Charlie spent 10 years at J.P. Morgan as a European Equity Capital Markets banker. Prior to that, he was a journalist for 15 years: five at the Daily Telegraph, where he was City Correspondent and US Business Correspondent; and 10 at the Financial Times, where he was Banking Editor, Companies Editor and Assistant Editor. Charlie has also broadcast extensively on television and radio, including the BBC, CNBC and others.
Charlie holds a degree in Social & Political Science from Cambridge University, where he was a Scholar at Churchill College. He also holds the WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits and is a qualified British Rowing Umpire. Charlie is chairman of Cygnet Rowing Club and a Trustee of Fulham Reach Boat Club. He has dual British and Swiss nationality.
