Yadan Ouyang

Yadan leverages her background in journalism and public affairs to help leading multinational clients navigate critical moments involving complex cross-border situations and geopolitical risks.

Yadan joined Brunswick’s Washington DC office in 2024 having spent four years in the firm’s Beijing office. A former journalist, Yadan’s deep understanding of China’s domestic policies and geopolitical dynamics equips her to provide clear, strategic insights on navigating crises, regulatory issues, and strategic corporate positioning. Her client experience spans across the tech, consumer, financial services and non-profit sectors.

Yadan started her career as a journalist, reporting on China-related affairs for The Economist. Yadan joined Brunswick in 2019 from the Australian Embassy in China, where she led the public affairs and communications team. She is bilingual in Mandarin and English.
