Dave Carlson

Dave is a Partner at Brunswick Group. He joined the firm in 2017 as a Director, was promoted to Partner in 2021, and now leads the firm’s Chicago office, working to grow and develop the team in Chicago and expand the firm’s client base across the Midwest. His practice areas include Leadership & Transformation, Financial Situations, and Crises & Litigation.

With 20 years of experience across communications, marketing, sales, and investor relations, he brings a unique, cross-functional mindset to helping business leaders engage their most important stakeholders and transform their businesses.

His clients at Brunswick have included Albertsons Companies, Caterpillar, Hyatt Corporation, The Kellogg Company, McDonald’s, Molson Coors, Walgreens Boots Alliance, Western Union, and many other leading corporations.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Dave held positions of increasing responsibility at global agencies owned by Omnicom and WPP. He also worked as a Communications Manager for Getco LLC (now part of Virtu Financial), a pioneer in the field of algorithmic trading. He began his professional career as a shoe salesman for Bloomingdale’s. He has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Arizona State University.
